Objective: Determining the relationship between the use of mobile technology and problem solving strategies among students of the Faculty of Humanities, Islamic Azad University- Tehran North Branch. Method: The present applied research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the study is all students of the Faculty of Humanities of Islamic Azad University-Tehran North Branch, which were 4976 students. The sample size according to Morgan table was estimated to be 354 who were selected by stratified random sampling. Data collection tools are Slanbay (2008) Mobile Technology Questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.81 and Cassidy and Lang (1996) Questionnaire of Strategies Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression tests were used to analyze the data. Results: The share of using mobile technology is 3.5% creativity strategy, 3.8% trust strategy, 4.6% orientation strategy, 4.4% helplessness strategy, 3.4% inhibition strategy, 2.4% avoidance strategy, and finally 3.9% of changes in problem solving strategies in students of the Faculty of Humanities of Islamic Azad University- Tehran North Branch can be explained through the use of mobile technology. Conclusion: The results showed that with 95% confidence, there is a relationship between the use of mobile technology and problem solving strategies in students, which is equal to 0.204 units.           First graders were randomly selected from primary schools in tehran,Iran. In the pre-test stage, form a of the individual differences in children,s addition strategy choices(Kerman & Siegler,1997) was administered to both experimental and control groups.Next, instructions of using min strategy were given to participants in the experimental group, but not in the control group.in the post-test stage, form B of the same test was administered to bath groups.findings showed that instructions influenced the frequency of usage of min strategy in the experimental group.but in spite of,the two groups in retrieving the responses were not sidnificantly different, the accuracy of backup and min strategy were greater in the exprimental group than in the control group.two groups were significantly different in the speed at which they executed the min strategy and the experimental group was faster than the control group. Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between problem-solving strategies and critical thinking in the students of School of Railway Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology in the academic year of 2018-2019. This is an applied research and descriptive correlational method is used in current survey. The statistical population of this research includes all the students of the School of Railway Engineering. The total number of students are 760, which according to the Morgan's table for sample size 260 people are selected by random sampling method. The data gathering tool was Cassidy and Lang's standard problem solving questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha of 0.86 and for critical thinking variable of Critical Thinking Questionnaire (Ahmad Beigi, 1397) in which the reliability of the research questionnaire for each component was reported using Cronbach's alpha coefficient greater than7%and the reliability of the questionnaire in the research for each of the components using Cronbach's alpha coefficient was reported 81%. Pearson Correlation Method was used to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between problem solving strategies and critical thinking.
