Based on the subject, complain is generally divided into five categories: 1) Personal 2) Social 3) philosophical 4) Political 5) Mystical. Khaghani is among the poets whose poetry is deeply concerened with the motif of grief and sadness. One can almost say for sure that complaining has a particular function in his poetry. Of his 17000 lines, almost 1000 lines (about 6%) of his whole Divan has been devoted to this issue. His poetry is not concerened with mystical complaint at all, and political complaint has the lowest frequency, while other issues are, in turn, divided into various other subdivisions. This paper is concerened with complaint and its reflection in Khaghani’s poetry.    Manuscript profile

The ancient root of comparative literature or parallel literature in the history of Persian and Arabic literature has not been hidden from any researcher of this bilingual literature, especially in the field of prophetic praises since ancient times. The praise of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is a legacy of the common religious sentiment and thinking of Islamic writers, especially between the civilizations of Iran and Arabs. Even the long time of living between the poets of Wadiban has not been able to make these common and remarkable aspects and themes in their poems become forgotten. The poems of these two poets, considering The religious and religious background of both of them, in spite of living in different eras, and with a long time gap, has a common aspect, especially the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam. The comparison of the poems of these two poets is based on prophetic praises and common themes such as the birth, morals and creation of the Prophet (PBUH), the position and status of the companions and family of the Prophet (PBUH). , the Kausar pool, miracles and influence from the Qur'an and prophetic hadith and attention to Jesus the prophet can be compared and measured. with the difference that although Khaqani does not have a Sufi profession, he has a special skill in creating meanings and using various words of Sufi literature, and most of his descriptions are short and concise. However, in most cases, Shoghi expresses the matter in a simple, clear and concise way in his prophetic praises. A comparison compares the poems in Shoghi Diwan and Khaqani Batkieh on their prophetic praises, in order to show the commonalities and differences of these two famous poets in the way of speaking. Iranian and Semitic myths are widely and variously reflected in Khāqāni's poetry and his panegyrics. The extraordinary power and glory of the mythological figures is familiar to everyone. Khāqāni pays attention to this and describes his praised person and shows his/her superiority over Iranian and Semitic myths and even Islamic characters. Because of this, he sometimes ignores his religious beliefs. The present article aims to examine the function of the myths in Khāqāni's poetry. The results show that he has no disagreement with Iranian myths, nor does he disbelieve religious beliefs. Whenever, he refers to superiority of his praised persons over the mythological figures or despises the myths, he wants to attract his praised person attention and enjoy his/her material gifts. Which SHahnameh has been used by KHaghani SHarvani? Khaghani Sharvani, the great eminent poet of the sixth century A.H. had borrowed to a large extent many narratives, epic, mythical, and heroic tales from Shahnameh in his poetry.  However certain evidence show that the stories drawn upon do not belong to Ferdowsi’s version of Shahnameh and distinctly not found in it. It is also possible that the tales are differently narrated.  It is proposed in this article that Khaghani may have had access to another Shahnameh other than Ferdowsi’s epic.   One also encounters such discrepancies in the poetry of other poets of the fifth and sixth century A.H.  The attempt is made in this article to study the materials taken from Shahnameh in Khaghani’s poetry and to compare them with earlier epic sources and epic narratives available in ancient Persian history.  The study verifies that Khaghani had access to other Shahnameh copies.  Further examination of evidence strengthens this supposition that he had been mostly under the influence of Masoudi Marvazi’s Shahnameh.
