Today, urban transportation and its effects and consequences, in addition to the physical and environmental spheres, are problematic in the social and cultural spheres, as it has more complex dimensions in the metropolitan cities of developing countries. Thus, considering that Tehran city as the largest metropolis faces a population density and massive volume of transportation and transportation inside and outside the city, and also the technical and infrastructural aspect has been dramatically increased in recent years, but still the consequences and transport implications in environmental and health areas, is one of the most important issues in Tehran. Given the importance of this matter, the central issue of the present study is whether the social dimension of urban transport and the strengthening of this dimension has an impact on social development. In this regard, the argument is that strengthening the social dimension of urban transport as social capital, leads to the formation of social development in the city. In order to study and analyze this issue using the documentary and library research method and using the theoretical analysis tool and its analysis, we try to investigate the concepts of social dimensions of urban transportation and social development, the role of social dimension of urban transportation in social capital and, consequently, the formation of social development based on theoretical implications. The findings of the study show that in a broad conceptual dimension, social development, namely, the improvement of the human condition, which strengthen social security indicators, social participation, education and culture, and social identity, in order to reduce the social damage to urban transportation spaces action and it leads to the creation of social capital and the final product of this process is the formation of social development in the city, and as a result, social capital as a social dimension of urban transport plays an important role in the social development of Tehran. Traffic is an important urban challenge that cities of developing countries face it.Traffic problem is resulted  from the  increasing growth of urbanization and the inefficiency of the skeleton and physical development of cities in the vertical and horizontal dimensions. Furthermore, the increasing number of vehicles and unsuitable passage network system as well as the ravage of the city's public transport system and unsuitable localization of land use in the city level, especially transportation equipment jam  in the central part of the city can be considered as gravity point and attraction for travel during day which help devastating the city’s potentials. Boroujerd is located among the medium sized cities in Iranian urban network system, which with respect to the design of city, has a centralized form and traffic problem.  The problems of such cities are fairly clear in the central part of city. This city, despite of its physical development and growth, has  ignored central inappropriate localization of transportation vehicles as well as city facilities such as businesses, educational and administrative services and  health services which are  centralized in the center of city. The passage network in this medium urban city doesn't have enough capacity for daily population and vehicles transportation. In order to evaluate the potential effects of these pressing problems, the present research has deployed software, namely ArcGIS،AuTOCAD ،Excel،SPSS to investigate the problem. The collected information was analyzed in order to distinguish the most problematic areas which need immediate concern. The results of this research showed that the communication networks and urban transportation system have meaningful relationship with physical skeleton and space pattern of the city. The  skeleton structure of the city and passage network land use and public transportation system were recognized as  unsuitable among main factors which had led to the current condition. Traffic in various cities depending on the social, cultural, and industrial and urbanity pertinence of that situation have different reasons. Excessive population growth and quick increase of the number of vehicles in our country and on the other hand, fixed physical structure and quality of pathways and streets, and the transformation states, leads to vehicle compressibility in communicative routes. Kerman as one of the metropolises in Iran is not an exception. Since one of main traffic problems of Kerman is related to cultural issue for encouraging people to use Foot Bridge, the main objective of this research is to study the existing bridge’s condition and analyze its efficiency. In an analytical and descriptive research through testing the null hypothesis , the quantitative results of which was verified by the collected qualitative data, the researcher attempted to determine the perception of the citizens of the efficiency of the existing footbridges. The findings revealed that citizens believes that existing structure of footbridge can't be helpful in reducing the traffic density in communicative routes in Kerman. Manuscript profile

Access to safe, convenient, low-cost transport is a natural right of every citizen and this determines the quality of life in urban areas. Cable Propelled Transit (CPT) is a transportation technology that moves people in motor-less, engine-less vehicles that are propelled by a steel cable. The two main CPT configurations include Top-Supported systems (vehicles/cabins supported from above) and Bottom-Supported systems (cabins supported from below via tracks).Monocable Detachable Gondola (MDG) is the most basic and common CPT systems used for urban transit installations. This technology utilizes a single cable which provides both propulsion and support. Since the cable line circulates continuously around two end terminals, MDGs are classed as continuously circulating systems. An MDG’s detachable grip enables cabins to detach from the propulsion cable upon entering a station and reattaching when exiting. MDG cabins typically seat 8 passengers but can have capacities ranging anywhere from 4-15 riders. They are increasingly popular forms of public transportation due to their high reliability, modest capacities and relative low cost and quick implementation times. Technical Stats Application: MDG systems are well-suited and easily adapted to the urban environment whether it’s built on challenging topography or flat land. In large cities, they typically complement rapid transit trunk lines by functioning as feeder systems. However, in smaller cities with lower transport demands, they can operate as a primary transportation line.MDG systems are also the most common tourist-oriented gondola systems found in cities. This paper tries to offer cable transit system to control a part of urban traffic congestion and facilitate movement of people along with other urban transit systems to facilitate commuting. Therefore, as in our country there is not an applied example of cable transit system as a public urban system and we only use this system as a tourism system and as a twin winter mostly applied, we   implemented two successful experiences in Colombia and Venezuela, to analyses the advantage of this system. After analyses Measurement and Assess of the Practicality of the project in city if it was possible, we would propose it to city council.       Manuscript profile

Environmental quality is a multi dimensional concept that has common points with concepts such as quality of life, quality of place, perception and satisfaction of citizens and livability. So, one of the urban environmental quality indicators is easy, quick and safe access for citizens and enjoying a variety of facilities and activities in the cities. In this regard, accessibility, movement continuity and presence of specific social groups, such as children and elderlies in different parts of the urban spaces, with the lowest energy wastage (in the field of the Fuel consumption and human force), the most acceptable cost; low traffic and minimal adverse environmental effects; such as air and noise pollution; and the most positive effects on culture, society and economic and also optimal utilization of physical and biological environment resulting from the desirable communication with urban transportation systems are among the main indicators of upgrading of the environmental quality of urban spaces. According to this, the present paper- with the goal of assessing the effects of urban transportation different modes on urban spaces environmental quality- is seeking to answer the question of: Which of the urban transportation modes have the most effects on upgrading of urban spaces environmental quality? The methodology of the paper relies on the secondary data and a questionnaire-based survey through Delphi Method. Finally, for assessing the effects of urban transportation different modes on urban spaces environmental, AHP Method is used. The results show that pedestrian mode in the first place and public transportation in the second place have the most ability to upgrading the environmental quality of urban spaces and creating attractive, livable and sustainable urban spaces Manuscript profile

. Due to the rapid growth of population in cities and the increasing increase in personal travel and side-effects such as foggy consumption of energy and environmental pollution and congestion caused by the increased traffic of single-person private cars, congestion in the city central transit runs a particular transport system, in particular In crowded cities, this requires more precise planning, on the other hand, with the expansion of the city of Rasht and its population increase, traffic has become one of the main problems that, in addition to wasting time for citizens, has caused a lot of fuel to be consumed in vain. Among the objectives of this research is to study the factors affecting the reluctance of citizens of Rasht to use bikes, their use of bicycles, and the relationship between occupation, education, income and the interest of citizens in using bicycles to navigate for inland city trips, because the use of bicycles and the promotion of its culture as the best substitute for polluting environments on short-range intra-city trips has long been institutionalized in major industrialized countries. This paper uses descriptive-analytical method and distributed questionnaires in the city to collect information. Using statistical techniques and software such as SPSS and Excel, analyzes have been done. The results indicate that between use of bikes and variables such as: citizen's interest There is a significant relationship between citizenship education, their income and their occupation.
