Today, the use of social networks has grown a lot and these networks have both positive features and consequences and negative features and consequences. From the factors related to social networks can be noted to interpersonal relationships and emotional regulation. Therefore, the aim of present study was predicting tendency to social networks based on interpersonal relationships and emotional regulation in female high school students. This was a descriptive-analytical study from type of cross-sectional. The study population was all female high school students in Rasht city in the academic years of 2018-19, which from them number of 100 students were selected by available sampling method. Samples responded to research tools including the tendency to social network scale (Andreassen & et al, 2012), communication skills questionnaire (Barton, 1990) and emotional regulation questionnaire (Gross and John, 2003). Data collected by the above tools were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression with enter model methods in SPSS software version 19. The results of Pearson correlation coefficients showed that verbal skill (r= -0.169), feedback skill (r= -0.117), interpersonal relationships (r= -0.367) and emotional regulation (r= -0.420) had a negative and significant relationship with tendency to social networks (P<0.05), but listening skill (r= -0.085) had no significant relationship with the tendency to social networks (P>0.05). The results of multiple regression with enter model showed that interpersonal relationships and emotion regulation could significantly explain 28.5% and the dimensions of interpersonal relationships could significantly explain 4.6% of the changes of tendency to social networks (P<0.05). According to the results, the specialists and planners of education of students to reduce the tendency to social networks can increase the level of interpersonal relationships and emotion regulation in them through training workshops. The present study was conducted in order to investigate the predictive power of personality traits for reactions to interpersonal transgressions in university students. The statistical population of the current study, which was conducted in a correlational design, included all students studying at the Persian Gulf University in the academic year of 1402-1401. The sample members include 224 students (96 male and 128 female) who were selected using the multi-stage cluster sampling method. The scales used in this research included Five-factor Personality Questionnaire (McCrae and Costa) and The Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Inventory—18-Item Version (TRIM–18). Data were analyzed using stepwise regression analysis. The findings showed that the two traits of agreeableness (β=0.26, P<0.01), and openness to experience (β=0.21, P<0.01) are direct predictors of the forgiveness reaction. Revenge reaction was directly predicted by trait neuroticism (β=0.44, P<0.01), but reversely predicted by agreeableness (β=0.44, P<0.01), and openness to experience (β=0.23, P<0.01). Avoidance reaction was also inversely predicted by agreeableness (β=0.43, P<0.01) and openness to experience (β=0.25, P<0.01), but it was directly predicted by the trait of neuroticism (β=0.19, P<0.01). Considering the role of personality traits in predicting the type of reactions in interpersonal conflicts, focusing on and strengthening the personality traits that facilitate interpersonal relationships can be an effective prevention factor for interpersonal transgressions. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between identity styles and peer interpersonal relationship among high school students in Miandoab city. Utilizing correlative descriptive research method. 380 students from high schools in Miandoab city which were selected through stratified multi-stage random sampling procedure. Measurement tool included Berzonsky’s Identity Style Inventory (ISI-66) and a researcher-made questionnaire concerning peer interpersonal relationship. Using SPSS software, the analysis of descriptive as well as inferential statistics such as Pearson Correlation, ANOVA, T-test and Multiple Regression was conducted. Research results revealed that (a) there was a significant difference between identity styles and peer interpersonal relationship and (b) there was no significant gender difference in informational Identity Style and diffuse/avoidant identity style; however, there was significant difference between male and female students in terms of normative identity style. Additionally, identity styles contributed a regression of R=0.391 and R2=0.153 toward predicting the degree of peer interpersonal relationship i.e. this coefficient is significant.   Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of enrichment of interpersonal relationship skills program on university students’ causal attributions, interpersonal conflict solution strategies, cognitive emotion regulation strategies and perception of positive relations with others. In this experimental study with pretest-posttest control-group design and follow up stage, 72 students participated, 40 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group. The participants completed the Attribution Style  Questionnaire (ASQ; Peterson & et al., 1982), the Conflict Resolution Styles Inventory (CRSI; Kurdek, 1994), the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ-SF; Garnefski, Kraaij & Spinhoven, 2001), and the Positive Relationships with Others Scale (PROS; Ryff, 1989). The experimental group received 10 sessions of enrichment of interpersonal relationship skills program (1 hour a session). The results of multivariate and univariate covariance analysis indicated that enrichment of interpersonal relationship skills program was effective in increasing positive causal attributions, positive problem solving strategy, adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and positive relations with others and in decreasing negative causal attributions, non-adaptive interpersonal conflict solution styles and non-adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in short term and long term. The findings suggest that enrichment of interpersonal relationship skills program may result in mental immunization in students through increasing positive thinking strategies, adaptive emotional management skills and interpersonal relationships skills enrichment Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity and reliability   of  adult self expression scale  and relationship between   Self Expression and   quality of   interpersonal relationship on male and female teachers of Qazvin in the academic year of 2017-2016. Sample consists of 400 teachers selected randomly cluster sampling. The   data gathering tool included self-disclosure scale-the adult forms of Hollandsworth‚  Galassi & Gay   (1977), the quality of interpersonal relationships, Pierce, Sarason, & Sarason (1991), and  Rathus assertivness Schedule  (1973). To analyze the data and   to investigate the research hypotheses, exploratory and confirmatory research   was applied, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression were used. The   results of Cronbach's alpha coefficient and point-to-point coefficient showed   that 33 of 47 questions were eliminated due to lack of clean factor higher   than 0.20 and the standardized Cronbach's alpha coefficient for 14 questions   was calculated 0.78. Exploratory factor analysis by main component analysis   and varimax rotation method showed that the self-detection scale has one   factor, and this is a factor with a specific value of 3.65, alone, reveals   26.04% of the variance of the test. The results of the first factor analysis   also showed the validity of the scale structure. The results of Pearson   correlation coefficient showed that there is a positive and significant   relationship between self-disclosure and quality of relationship with   parents, quality of relationship with each other, overall score of the   quality of interpersonal relationships. The results of self-regression   self-disclosure on the quality of interpersonal relationships revealed that   0.014% of the variance in the quality of the relationship with the parents,   0.12% of the variance of the quality of the relationship with the spouse, and   0.018 of the variance of the quality of the relationship between, are   explained through self-disclosure.
