This study aims to identify the effects of abnormality, with an emphasis on three dimensions (meaninglessness, distrust and powerlessness) on social Apathy. The research population consisted of students of Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran and North Tehran branches which totaled 85,000 at the time of the research, of which 380 were selected via a random sampling technique. The survey method was used and the data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Pearson correlation coefficient, linear and multiple regression, independent mean t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to test the hypotheses. The findings showed that the rate of meaninglessness with a correlation of (r = 0.267); distrust with a correlation of (r = 0.245); and powerlessness with a correlation of (r = 0.397) were positively and significantly related to students' apathy. In other words, the higher the three dimensions of social anomaly, the greater the apathy among students.
