Study of the role of life skills training on the quality of social relations and behavioral health of adolescents of the Correctional Center in Tehran

Abstract :
Childhood is one of the most important stages of life in which a person's personality is established and formed, and in this sensitive period, having life skills and strengthening them improve a person's life. Because life skills include a set of abilities and capabilities that provide the ground for adaptation and positive and useful behavior for children. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of life skills training on the quality of social relations and behavioral health of adolescents of the Correctional Center in Tehran. The method of this research is survey and the statistical population is children under 18 criminals in correctional facilities in Tehran. Based on the sample size formula, 384 of them were selected as the statistical sample. The statistical results of the correlation coefficient showed that life skills training on the variables of quality of social relations with parents with a coefficient (0.73), quality of social relations with peers with a coefficient (0.69) of children's behavioral health with a coefficient (0.65), respectively. Finally, it affects the quality of social relations with adults with a coefficient (0.54).
