The relationship between ethics and organizational citizenship behavior using structural equation modeling in Mazandaran University staff

Abstract :
organizational citizenship behavior such modern concepts of management that has many individual and organizational effectiveness. Understanding of this type of behavior and develop strategies to improve organizational activities plays an important role. Accordingly, the present study was to investigate the relationship between ethics and organizational citizenship behavior has Mazandaran University. The population of the research staff at the University of Mazandaran up, a total of 544 persons, of which 253 persons after the pre-test and Cronbach's alpha through Cochran formula is chosen as an example of research. Standard of work ethic questionnaire Gregory C. Petty (1990) and organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire using a mix of Oregon and Ryan (1995) and Pvdsakf and Mac Kvzny (2006). Cronbach's alpha questionnaire 0/75and 0/80 work ethic and organizational citizenship behavior were obtained. For data analysis and structural equation modeling, LISREL software is used. Structural equation modeling results indicated a significant relationship between work ethic and organizational citizenship behavior exists between business ethics and conduct outreach, generosity, loyalty, integrity, citizenship, self-growth, there is a significant relationship between obedience.
