Sociological study of lifestyle and its relation with social capital (Case study: Women of Qazvin)

Abstract :
This article aims to investigate the relationship between social capital and lifestyle of women aged 20-55 in Qazvin in 1396 with a sample size of 382 people and using field method, scanning technique, utilizing probable sampling method and using a researcher-made questionnaire .Theoretical views of Putnam and Bourdieo have been used for social capital, Giddens and Bourdieo for lifestyle and Bourdieo for the overall framework of research .The questionnaire was extracted by SPSS software and used Pearson correlation and Stepwise Regression. Social capital has been measured through the components of social trust, social participation and social cohesion and the overall rate of women's social capital was low and lifestyle were measured through the components of body management, religiosity with two dimensions of ritual and beliefs, free time, traditional beliefs, gender-based cultural beliefs , and the three traditional, modern, and interstitial lifestyles among the studied women had the highest rates of modern life style, at the same time independent variables have been able to explain the dependent variable variations.
