Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to identify and rank barriers to the use of physical education research in the sports industry to create structural and social transformations in research. The statistical population of this study is the managers of sports departments and organizations, university professors and scholars. The sample was a non-random sampling with 40 physical education researcher and 40 managers. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 24 questions with 5 components whose validity was confirmed and reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha of 0.79. Data were analyzed using chi-square, Friedman, exploratory factor analysis and Yu-mann Whitney in SPSS18 software. The results showed that the lack of attention to the scientific and social needs of target organizations in physical education research, inappropriate interaction between boards and departments of sports and youth with research institutions and the lack of comprehensive rules and regulations for the application of appropriate research, respectively, were the most important Barriers to the use of physical education research have been found in the Iranian sports industry.
