Abstract :
Background and objectives : Over the last decade, quality of life investigations have become an increasingly important part of many medical studies. Quality of life is a multi- dimensional issue, incorporating physical, psychological, social, and Environmental domains that it must be self- reported according to the person’s own experiences. The purpose of the present study was to determine the quality of life levels in employed Midwives as effective factor on women health. methods: It was a descriptive cross sectional study that conducted in iran. 158 samples of employed midwives from Qom compeleted the questionnaire. The data were collected using demographic check list, and WhoQol- BREF questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS- PC software and descriptive analysis, Independent- samples T test, Mann– Whitney test and linear regression.Results: Findings showed that the most of subjects had "good" quality of life. There was no significant Statistical differences between quality of life in midwives work in hospitales or health centers (P < 0.05). There was significant Statistical relationship between psychological, social, and Environmental domains and education and marriage (P < 0.05). Conclusion: On the results of this study; Whereas midwifery is a stressful job, there was seen higher quality of life in employed midwives and There was no significant differences between quality of life in midwives that work in hospitales or health
