Abstract :
The spread of the coronavirus has created a global, regional, national, political, social, economic and trade crisis. The first impact of the coronavirus on foreign policy can be considered in the security, economic and political dimensions. This crisis was characterized as instability, uncertainty and risk. And it created a major economic crisis. The main negative economic effects were accompanied by the loss of jobs and wages, which could only be compensated by support measures, the income needed by governments (guaranteed income, tax breaks, etc.). The Covid-19 disease has caused major and comprehensive tremors on the structure of individual and social life at all levels of national, regional and international interactions, various questions, concepts, statements and claims were raised about the impact of the coronavirus disease. In addition to what has affected the lives of ordinary people around the world and has made life out of the ordinary for everyone, Corona has become an exciting and controversial topic among theorists and practitioners of foreign policy and international relations, and dozens of views have been raised about the relationship between Corona and foreign relations, but this serious question still needs further reflection in the political economy of Iranian and American foreign policy. The present article seeks to answer the question in a descriptive and analytical manner: How can the political economy of the foreign policy of the Republic of Iran and the United States be analyzed in the context of Corona? In response to this question, unmasking the world of politics can be proposed and is somewhat enlightening, as it has shown that Corona has discredited the great powers, led by the United States, and that the great powers are not at the center of all international relations and the determinants of the fate of the world.
