Abstract :
Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigation the relationship of meta cognitive beliefs and rumination in students of Kurdistan university. In this research which was done in correlation form,143 students who were selected and subjected to study by means of Random cluster. 2 questionnaires regarding meta cognitive beliefs and rumination were used as means of data collection tool. In this research, metacognitive beliefs were considered as predictor variables and rumination was considered dependent variables. The data were analyzed through R Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analyzes. The results consequences revailed that There are a significant positive relationship Among all factors meta cognitive beliefs and rumination (p<0/01). These factors Could accounted for 41 present of the variation in the rumination. Regression coefficients with hirachical method for linear combination of meta-cognitive beliefs and rumination was significant in the levels of less than0/001. The finding of Present research support of the existing relationship between meta-cognitive beliefs and rumination in students of Kurdistan university. Therefore, these factors should be considered in educational and therapeutic actions to reduce rumination.
