The relationship between career maturity, work motivation and flow in employee of Health Ministry

Abstract :
Introduction:The purpose of this study was the relationship between Career maturity, work motivation and Flow among the employee of Health Ministry. Method:The method used in this study was correlation. The participants were of 205 employees of Health Ministry, that were selected by stratified random sampling. The instruments which used in this study were work Motivation Questionnaire of Halkman and Oldham (1976), Adults career concern inventory of Super and Tompson (1988) and Flow State Scale of Jackson and March (1996). Data were analyzed by SPSS. A correlation and stepwise regression analysis was used to analyzing data. Result:Result indicated that there were a significant and negative correlation between Career maturity and Flow (r= -0/49**), and significant and positive correlation between work motivation and flow (0/34**). Also, The result of stepwise regression indicated that the subscale of decline, feedback and skill can predict %56 of variance of flow. Conculosion:
