Abstract :

Purpose: The purpose of this study is survey of status of study among Sarpol E-Zahab’s public libraries and analysis of motivational and preventive reason’s to study. Methodology: This is a survey and applied study. The study population was the users of the Sarpol-E-Zahab’s public libraries. By using Cochran formula sample size earned was 150 library users. Data were collected using a questionnaire which its validity and reliability have been confirmed. Data were analyzed using analytical statistics and SPSS 20. Findings: There is a relationship between variable of study rate and variables of type of job, entertainments, study’s motivation, method of preparation of book, income rate and payment for book. In contrast, no correlation between the variables study rate and variables of Gender, marital status, age, education level and the price of the book was not seen. Also among the motivational factors, the family has most important role and increased media, including TV and internet ... is the main deterrent to the study. Conclusion: The rate of the population study is in average condition. According to young spectrum user, attention to proportional needs with population can increase motivational factors to study.
