        1 - The names of the Quranic verses, their taxonomy and the reasons for their nomenclature

        Just as the surahs of Quran have names, and sometimes they have even several names, and each of these names has a corresponding aspect to the surah; some verses of the Quran also have one or more names for various purposes; which are called the titles of the verses. Th More
        Just as the surahs of Quran have names, and sometimes they have even several names, and each of these names has a corresponding aspect to the surah; some verses of the Quran also have one or more names for various purposes; which are called the titles of the verses. The origin of the naming of some of the titles of the Quranic verses are the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam’s (PBUH) narrations; which have become popular in the language of people for some reasons; and some of them are for stating a subject which is juridical, theological, historical, etc. In this article, an attempt is made to - based on desk researches, and analyzing data and summarizing them, and also by examining the verses of Quran, narrations, interpretations and other religious texts-first, all of the names of the verses of Quran be introduced, in an alphabetical order. Then, the reason for naming each one be mentioned. After that, the numbers of verses be separated, according to the largest numbers of the names. At the end, the scientific type of the names of some verses be stated (juridical, verbal, interpretive, ethical and historical). Manuscript profile
