The relationship between Internet addiction and anxiety in students

Abstract :
The present research aims at clarifying the relation between the Internet and High School female students’ stress of a district in Sanandaj in the year 1391-92. The research type is correlative which has been conducted descriptively. The statistical community is the whole High School female students of a district in Sanandaj whose use the Internet (600) and its sample volume has equaled (100) by dint of Kukran. The devices are in the following framework: Jung Kamibrel (1998), stress scale questionnaire, along with ‘Libewand and Libewand mental stress and strain’ (1995). In order to inferentially analyze the data emanated from the measurement devices the two methods of Pearson and Regression were put to practice. The results revealed that there is a meaningful relationship between Internet access and female stresss. The research also showed that 51% of the users were “exposed” to the danger of the Net. The stress of the students was also evaluated in the level of High School. The findings divulge that the higher the Internet addiction rate, the greater the amount of the stress and pressure.
