Abstract :
Sexual dysfunction is one of the most common sexual problems that causes serious problems in the quality of individual and social life. Considering the importance of sexual health in students, the aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of sexual dysfunction in married male and female students of Tehran Azad University. This is a descriptive research (survey). To do so, 608 married Students from North Tehran Azad University City were screened in 2021. Sampling method was available and voluntary. Female Sexual Functions Index (FSFI) and International Index of Erectile Function (ILEF) were used. Data were analyzed by comparing two independent groups in SPSS, Version 26. There is a difference between the different levels of underlying diseases in the variable of sexual dysfunction and the highest mean was related to people with diabetes. Prevalence of tendency dysfunction 14.82%, stimulation dysfunction 20.8%, lubrication dysfunction 9.73%, orgasm dysfunction 16.15%, satisfaction dysfunction 17.48%, pain dysfunction 18.58% and overall prevalence of disorders Female sexual dysfunction was 42.7%. The results also showed that 5.77% in general male dysfunction, respectively. Given that sexual disorders are the cause of many social problems and optimal sexual function has an undeniable role on various aspects of life, appropriate educational and therapeutic planning, including premarital counseling, sex education, couples Therapy and sex therapy based on community culture are recommended.
