Abstract :
Investigating the relationship between mental security and mental well-being in women's tendency towards cosmetic surgery: analyzing the mediating role of narcissism Abstract The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between mental security and mental well-being in women's cosmetic surgery orientation and analyzing the mediating role of self-infatuation. The method of the current research was a correlational description. The study population included all women aged 18 to 68 in Kermanshah city, who were selected by convenience sampling, and their number was 300. The questionnaires used in this research are the demographic information questionnaire, Zare and Aminpour's mental security questionnaire (2013), Keys and Magyarmo's mental well-being scale (2003), Fard and Amani's trust cosmetic surgery tendency questionnaire (2013) and personality questionnaire. Amaz Narcissist (2006). Data were analyzed using smart pls 3 software and structural equation method.Based on the findings, the mean of mental security variable is equal to 1.78, which indicates low mental security, the mean mental well-being is equal to 3.33, which is at the optimal level, the mean tendency to cosmetic surgery in women is equal to 2.66, and the mean Self-infatuation is equal to 1.72, which is in the low limit. From the findings, it can be concluded that the existence of a relationship between mental security and mental well-being with the tendency to cosmetic surgery in women through the mediating role of narcissism seems significant.
