The relationship between professional ethics and the quality of teaching in primary school teachers

Abstract :
The research was conducted with the aim of identifying the relationship between professional ethics and teaching quality of primary teachers. The statistical population includes all male and female primary school teachers in Hamil city. The study sample was selected using a multi-stage random sampling method. The research tool includes two questionnaires: a) the professional ethics questionnaire of primary teachers, b) the teaching quality questionnaire of primary teachers. Data analysis was done using simple correlation method and SPSS software. The findings of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between professional ethics and teaching quality of elementary teachers in Hamil city. Among the other findings of this research, it can be mentioned that the variable of teaching quality can be predicted by the sum of the independent variables considered in this research, that is, the quality of teaching through responsibility, honesty, justice and fairness, loyalty, sympathy with others and compliance and respect. It is predictable according to social values and norms. In other words, it can be acknowledged that teachers who have different dimensions of professional ethics, their teaching quality is more predictable.
