Abstract :
The present study aim was investigating the relationship between narcissism and religious orientation of managers with organizational health. The statistical population of the research consisted of all the employees of the North Khorasan Department of Education in the number of 230 people, according to the Kerjesi and Morgan table, 144 people were selected as a statistical sample in a stratified random manner. The data collection tools are Allport and Ross religious orientation questionnaire (1967), Thomas and Margolis narcissism scale (1980) and organizational health questionnaire presented in Graham Lowe's book. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics (to display demographic information) and inferential statistics (Pearson's correlation test) were used with the help of SPSS version 19 statistical software. The results showed that there is a significant positive and negative relationship between organizational health with religious orientation (internal and external) and organizational health with narcissism. Managers who have extrinsic religious orientation have lower organizational health and managers who have intrinsic religious orientation have higher organizational health.
