This research aimed to investigate the relationship of personality characteristics and religious orientation with discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students. This study was a cross-sectional from type of correlation. The statistical population of research included all high school boy students of Varamin city in 2016-17 academic years. From them 360 person were selected by multistep cluster sampling method and all of them completed the questionnaires of personality characteristics (Costa and McCrae, 1995), religious orientation (Allport and Ross, 1967) and discipline desired behaviors (Yoselyani and et al, 2012). Data was analyzed with Pearson correlation and multivariate regression with stepwise model methods. The findings of correlation showed neuroticism and external religious orientation had a negative and significant relationship with discipline desired behaviors and agreeableness, conscientiousness and internal religious orientation had a positive and significant relationship with discipline desired behaviors. Also the finding of regression showed the variables of conscientiousness, neuroticism and internal religious orientation can predict 38/4 percent of variance of discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students (P<0/05). Therefore suggest that counselors and psychologists to improve the discipline desired behaviors of high school boy students increase the conscientiousness and internal religious orientation of them and decrease the neuroticism of them. This research aimed to predicting of youth’ tendency to non-traditional criteria of mate selection based on factors of generation gap. This study was a cross-sectional from type of correlation. The statistical population of research included all youth of Jahrom city in 2016 year. From them 320 person were selected by multistep cluster sampling method and all of them completed the research-made valid and reliable questionnaires of non-traditional criteria of mate selection and generation gap. Data was analyzed with Pearson correlation and multivariate regression with enter model methods. The findings showed instrumental attitude to marriage, social freedoms and marriage through dating in cyberspace had a positive and significant relationship with non-traditional criteria of mate selection and marriage through dating in relatives and acquaintances had a negative and significant relationship with non-traditional criteria of mate selection, but marriage through dating in educational space hadn’t significant relation with non-traditional criteria of mate selection. Other findings showed factors of generation gap can predicted 28/8 percent of variance of youth’ tendency to non-traditional criteria of mate selection (P<0/05). Therefore suggest that planners to reduction the youth’ tendency to non-traditional criteria of mate selection design and implementation appropriate programs to decrease the instrumental attitude to marriage, social freedoms and marriage through dating in cyberspace and increase the marriage through dating in relatives and acquaintances. Abstract The purpose of the present research was to study the relationships between psychological capital and communicational patterns with domestic violence. So, 203 women have been selected by available sampling in Bojnord. It was a descriptive-correlation research and Straus et al. Conflict Tactics scale (CTS-2), Lutthans psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ) and Christansen and Sulavay couples communicational patterns questionnaire were used. Data analysis was carried out by multivariate regression test. The results indicated that mutual constructivism pattern predict received violence in negative direction (p<0.01) and the pattern of demand/resignation was also predicting received violence in positive direction (P<0.05). also, the results indicate that psychological capital (self-efficacy and hope) predict domestic violence in negative direction (P<0.05). according to the results it can be said that low inefficient communicational patterns and psychological capital of women lead to increase the amount of applied violence. Also the amount of received violence and victim of violence features would be connected together. Manuscript profile
