Abstract :
The present study aimed to compare the levels of resilience, coping strategies, and problem-solving skills between rural and urban high school students in Boyerahmad city. The statistical population in this study consisted of high school students from rural and urban schools in Boyerahmad County, from which a sample of 200 individuals (100 students from rural schools and 100 students from urban schools) was selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The research method was causal-comparative, and the researcher compared the research variables between the two groups. The instruments used in this study were the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (2003), the Endler and Parker Coping Styles Questionnaire (1990), and the Hepner Problem-Solving Inventory (1982). The results were analyzed using SPSS-25 software. The method of data analysis was analysis of variance. The results of the study showed that there is a significant difference between rural and urban high school students in Boyerahmad city in terms of resilience, coping strategies, and problem-solving. Also, the results of one-way analysis of variance showed that there is a significant difference between rural and urban high school students in Boyerahmad city in terms of resilience, there is a significant difference between rural and urban high school students in Boyerahmad city in terms of coping strategies, and there is a significant difference between rural and urban high school students in Boyerahmad city in terms of problem-solving.
