Abstract :
the relationship of J.A. Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan have been affected by many factors in the past years, one of the most important factors was the presence of the Zionist regime in this region. So that the most important red lines of Iran's declaration and actions in relation to Iraqi Kurdistan is the presence of the Zionist regime in this region, which has provided the grounds for the divergence of this region with Iran. Based on this, this research seeks to answer the question, what role does the relationship between the Iraqi Kurdistan region and the Zionist regime play in the convergence of this region with Iran? This research has investigated the problem in a descriptive-analytical way using Stephen Walt's threat balance theory. The results show that the security problems created in Iran's borders, the strengthening and cooperation of Daesh groups by Telavio, the creation of tension in Iranian cities in the last few years by the occupying Quds regime, cooperation with separatist terrorists in Iran's borders are among the most important. These are the issues that have influenced the process of convergence between Erbil and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
