    Article Submission Guidelines for the Quarterly Journal

    The Foundations of Philosophical Art Theory in Iranian Art quarterly, published by the Islamic Azad University, Khorasgan Branch, publishes scientific and research articles in the field of the philosophical foundations of Iranian art in both Persian and English. Authors who wish to submit articles to this journal are kindly requested to pay attention to the following guidelines:

    Article Submission Conditions:

    1. The content of the article must align with the objectives of the journal.
    2. The article should be scientific and research-oriented.
    3. The article must be the result of the studies, experiences, and research conducted by the author(s).
    4. The article must not have been published previously in any domestic or international journals, or in the proceedings of seminars or scientific conferences, nor should it be simultaneously submitted to other journals.
    5. The final article in both Word and PDF formats, along with the completed article authenticity form (commitment letter), must be sent to the journal's email.
    6. A version of the article without the authors' names and a separate file containing the authors' details must be submitted in Word format.
    7. The address or affiliation of the authors' place of study or employment must be correctly provided, and the file for authors’ information (authors.docx) should be completed and sent via the website.

    Articles should be typed according to the following guidelines and submitted through the journal's website at https://sanad.iau.ir/journal/pia/ after registering on the site.

    Articles must include the article title in both Persian and English, the names of the author(s) (researchers) in both Persian and English, and the authors' institutional affiliations, which should include the academic rank (scientific degree), the name of the department/research center, the name of the university or research institute, complete address, phone number, and email address. These details should be included on the abstract page of the article.

    Example of affiliation format: Student of the Department of …., Islamic Azad University, Isfahan (Khorasgan) Branch, Isfahan, Iran.

    The Persian abstract should be a maximum of 200 words, typed in 13-point Zar font, and should be a very concise paragraph including the purpose, research method, findings, discussion, and conclusion, along with a maximum of five keywords.

    The journal is published in both Persian and English. The English abstract, which is a complete translation of the Persian abstract, must also be submitted with the article.

    The list of keywords should appear alphabetically at the end of the abstract.

    The font and typeface used for typing articles should be Lotus Thin 13.

    Foreign terms, including names of places, abbreviations, scientific terms, etc., should be written in both Persian and the original language (as a footnote at the end of the article after the conclusion and before the references) and no footnotes should be used in any part of the article.

    The order of the scientific research article should be as follows:

    1. Author’s Information Sheet
    2. Title (maximum 25 words)
    3. Persian Abstract
    4. Introduction/Problem Statement
    5. Research Methodology
    6. Literature Review (Theoretical Foundations and Background)
    7. Discussion and Analysis
    8. Conclusion
    9. Footnotes
    10. Acknowledgements
    11. References
    12. English Abstract

    It is understood that analytical, critical, or review articles have their own specific conditions (such as being written by experts and having a research background in the subject matter).

    Tables, figures, charts, and images should be clear, printable, and numbered within the article. The title of tables should be placed above them, and the titles of figures and charts should be placed below. The font size for table and chart titles should be Lotus 10 for Persian and Times New Roman 8 for English, and both should be in bold. The source for all tables, charts, and figures must be written, and if the source is the author(s), it should be indicated as (Author) or (Authors) next to the title. It is essential that all tables, charts, and figures are referenced in the text.
