Analyzing the components of freedom and moderation in Alexander's kingdom from Aristotle's point of view

Abstract :

Temperance and moderation is one of the most fundamental moral concepts that plays a very effective role in shaping social life. The influence of the characteristic of freedom in the society has caused the degeneration and destruction of the society and causes damages; So that man is constantly suffering. What pulls human social life towards crisis is the inner gaps and weakness of moral virtues. In Shahnameh, Ferdowsi considers Avarice to be equivalent to nothingness. The outcome of his thoughts is moderate, and the goal of this essay is to achieve the virtue of truth, which is the basis of organizing human life. In order to achieve practical ideals, the present research aims to investigate the dimensions of these two traits in the story of Alexander's kingdom and to show the consequences of temptation in Alexander's kingdom based on Aristotle's theory of moderation. What happened the findings show that with the prominence of the virtues of wisdom, courage, truth, the two components of moderation and experimentation are also naturally present in him? One of his characteristics is the desire for immortality. Of course, according to the conditions in which he is placed, he uses the element of seeking superiority and anger; but the desire to conquer the country has the highest frequency in him, and its yield is suffering.
