Abstract :
Saadi Shirazi has used the combination of ghasab ul-Jaib in the beginning of Golestan. There are various opinions about the correct recording and the meaning of the composition of the ghasab ul-jaib. Golestan Saadi commentators and other researchers have discussed this combination and its meaning a lot. This combination has become the most controversial case throughout Saadi Golestan. But in spite of all these arguments, no theory has been put forward that everyone can accept so far. In this article, we have tried to establish the correct recording of this combination using three criteria: 1. Following the maximum recording of Golestan manuscripts, 2. Accuracy in the context of the sentences which this combination is used, and 3. Reference New evidence in other works. In our opinion, the correct form of this combination is the ghasab ul-jaib. Ghasab ul-jaib means a piece of straw in which important paper and letters are placed.
