Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to test the conceptual model of the role of leader-member exchange in the relationship between ethical leadership and creative performance of primary school teachers in district 2 of Shiraz. This study was applied in terms of purpose, descriptive in nature and method, and cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population of the research was considered to be all primary school teachers in the 2nd district of Shiraz, whose number was 550 and according to Morgan's table, the sample size was 225. In this research, three standard questionnaires of the relationship between the leader and the follower were used in the Niknam and Companion organization (2017), the creative performance of Sai et al. (2015) and the ethical leadership of Carlshon (2011). The content validity of all three questionnaires was confirmed by experts and their reliability was obtained by calculating Cronbach's alpha for the three questionnaires: 0.85, 0.87 and 0.92. In this study, Pearson's correlation test and structural equations were used to check the research hypotheses. And the obtained information was analyzed by SPSS and Amoos software. The results of Pearson's correlation test showed that ethical leadership, leader-member exchange and creative performance had a direct and significant relationship. The results of structural equation modeling showed that there was a significant relationship between ethical leadership and creative performance with the mediating role of leader-member exchange from the perspective of primary school teachers in district 2 of Shiraz.
