Abstract :
The aim of this research was to present the development model of rural sports and local indigenous games with an interpretative structural approach. The current research is descriptive in terms of practical purpose, in terms of method, and was conducted in a mixed qualitative and quantitative manner. Sampling in the qualitative section was based on a specialized and targeted panel and the number of samples was equal to 20 people. The statistical population in the quantitative section, including the officials and experts of the local rural and native sports federation and provincial boards, was equal to 115 people who were selected as a sample. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire and a structured self-interaction form in the form of a questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the opinion of 10 sports management professors and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. Interpretive structural modeling technique was used to level the components. The findings showed that 39 factors in the form of 10 components have an effect on the development of rural sports and local indigenous games. Also, based on the findings, the components were structured in five levels, and the components of motivational growth, managerial, attitudinal and supportive factors were placed at the lowest level of the model. Considered policies, positive attitude of families and officials towards rural and native and local sports, coherence and unity in management along with incentive mechanisms will help to revive and develop rural sports and local native games.
