Analysis of the competitive advantage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth based on media reputation

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to analyze the competitive advantage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth based on media reputation. Qualitative research with a systematic exploratory approach was chosen. The statistical population includes managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth (senior, middle managers, deputy managers, sports and youth departments of the provinces) with 10 years of experience and a doctoral degree, professors specializing in the field of sports media (at least two studies), professors specializing in the field The competitive advantage was marketing (at least two researches) and site managers and news and information channels (more than 5 years of experience). Sampling was done in a sufficient number and with a judgment method based on reaching theoretical saturation (20 people). Research tools included systematic library study and structured exploratory interviews. The validity of the tool was evaluated and confirmed based on the legal and scientific validity of the sample, expert opinion and agreement between the correctors. In order to analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method with a systemic analysis approach was used. The extracted conceptual framework of competitive advantage based on media reputation included 3 main categories (core codes) and 20 open codes (concepts). The results of selective coding showed that competitive advantage based on credit, competitive advantage based on trust and competitive advantage based on responsibility are among the most important competitive advantages based on media reputation in the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
