The effect of information technology and organization virtualization on human capital synergy with the mediating role of organizational structure(Case study of the Ministry of Sports and Youth)

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is the effect of information technology and virtualization of the organization on the synergy of human capital with the mediating role of organizational structure in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. This research is applied in terms of purpose and is a survey in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the study includes all managers and employees of the Ministry of Youth Sports of Iran in 1400, which included 920 people. The minimum sample size based on the Cochran's formula for limited communities was 265 people. For this purpose, the non-probability sampling method available among the managers and employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth was used. The data collection tool is the standard questionnaire of Limpintgo et al. (2014), John et al. (2019), Van et al. (2010) and Pasteur et al. (2002). . Cronbach's alpha was used to measure the reliability or reliability of the questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses. The results of this study showed that information technology explains and predicts 40.4% of the synergy of human capital and 35.1% of the organizational structure in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. And organizational virtualization affects 33.2% of the variance of human capital synergy and 58.1% of the variance of organizational structure in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. In addition, the organizational structure explains and predicts 84.1% of the variance of human capital synergy variable in the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
