Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to develop a framework for improving the productivity of sports facilities in sports and youth departments of Fars province with an interpretative structural approach. The research method was descriptive-survey and practical in terms of purpose. The research data was collected in the field and in a mixed (qualitative and quantitative) way. The statistical sample in the qualitative section was 16 experts who were selected purposefully and considering the criteria of education level, experience in managing sports facilities and publications. The statistical population in the quantitative part included the managers and experts of Fars province sports venues and beneficiaries. Due to the unlimited statistical population, 384 people were selected as a sample. First, they were randomly selected by stratification and then by availability. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire and a structured self-interaction form. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 8 sports management professors and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test (α=0.84). Interpretive structural modeling technique was used to level the components. Based on the findings, 46 indicators in the form of 10 components have an effect on the productivity of sports facilities in Fars province. Also, the components were structured in five levels. Physical factors, executive processes in management and planning were placed at the basic level of the model. Having sufficient, standard and available places along with thoughtful planning will help to improve the productivity of places.
