Abstract :
Introduction: Rural areas have always played an important role in the national economy due to various agricultural, industrial and service activities. A part of the economy of these regions depends on the activities of women. Therefore, knowing their position in rural areas can help to improve the existing conditions and improve it. In this research, the aim is to investigate the role and position of women heads of households in improving the livelihood economy in the rural areas of Mamsani county and then analyze the effective factors in improving the current situation.
Methods: The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on field data collection. The tool of data collection was a questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed through elites and reliability through the completion of 30 questionnaires and the calculation of Cronbach's coefficient greater than 0.70. The statistical population of the research is made up of female heads of households in the rural areas of Noorabad Mamsani city, and the sample size was determined to be 115 people. Data analysis was done usng statistical tests in spss software.
