Comparing the effectiveness of mindfulness training and cognitive therapy training based on mindfulness on adolescent girls' self-balance

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to compare the effectiveness of Mushfaq's mindfulness group training and cognitive therapy group training based on mindfulness on the self-balance of adolescent girls. In terms of the purpose, the current research is a part of applied research and in terms of method, it is a semi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group. he research population consisted of all female students in the 10th and 11th grades of the second secondary school in Karaj in 2019-2020, and 45 of them were selected as a sample. The instrument of the current research included Hardin's (2002) integrated inconsistency index. The group training intervention of Mendan Mushfaq was carried out during 8 sessions of 1.5 hours and the group training intervention of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness was carried out during 10 sessions of 1.5 hours; But the control group did not receive any intervention. The findings showed that the group training of the compassionate mind and cognitive therapy based on mindfulness is effective on the self-balance of adolescent girls. Also, the findings showed that there was a significant difference between the effectiveness of the two interventions of the Mushfaq Mind group training and the mindfulness-based cognitive therapy group training in self-balance.
