Comparssion of Knowledge Management and Information Technology in Males and Females

Abstract :
The current study was intended to compare the knowledge management and information technology in male and female National Drilling Company employees. 169 employees were randomly selected as a sample via simple sampling procedure based on Morgan table. Knowledge Management Questionnaire and Information Technology Questionnaire were implemented as data source. The research was a descriptive- comparative type. To analyze the collected data Multiple Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) was applied as main statistical method. The results indicated that there was a significant difference in knowledge management (F= 14.64, p≤ 0.0001) between male and female while the both groups were not differed significantly in information technology. The female employees gained a higher score mean than male in knowledge management.
