Identifying and prioritizing factors affecting the construction of temporary housing in urban settlements with a localization approach (Case study: Zanjan city)

Abstract :

The occurrence of natural disasters and wars, especially floods and earthquakes, are among the damaging factors in human settlements, which lead to people's homelessness and the urgent need for temporary accommodation and shelter for people. The current research aims to identify and explain the factors affecting the localization of their design in the city of Zanjan with the aim of temporary accommodation in the cold mountainous climate. In this research, which has been prepared using a descriptive-analytical method, the basic information has been collected through library studies and interviews with officials and custodians. The identified factors were studied in three dimensions "physical", "social" and "technical". The results of the surveys show that in the "social" dimension, the criterion of "security", in the "physical" dimension, the criteria of "planning and architecture" and "environmental health", and in the "technical" dimension, the criterion of "nativeness" has the first importance. and the criterion of "installation and maintenance" with the lowest score has been placed at the last level of importance. In relation to the components, the components of "safety and strength" and "security" (social dimension), the components of "garbage and waste management", "sanitary services" and "inclusiveness of spaces" (physical dimension) and the components of "materials" and "Structural Durability and Resistance" (technical dimension) are among the most important components with the highest score. The temporary accommodation after the earthquake, regardless of the characteristics such as the type of climate and culture, has other common characteristics that have different degrees of importance; so that according to the crisis conditions, high construction speed; Providing strength, safety and security of the shelter is more important than providing shelter for different areas.
