Abstract :
Today, cities are facing extensive challenges due to overgrowth and overcrowding due to population growth and rapid urbanization. Issues such as urban poverty, informal housing, growth, and declining quality of life can be seen. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the relationship between smart city and sustainable urban development in the 22nd metropolitan area of Tehran. The research method is descriptive-analytical and using field data (questionnaire). Statistical sample In order to collect field data in this study, the statistical sample consisted of a total statistical sample size of 300 people. Its analysis was performed using Pearson analysis and correlation and regression analysis of components. Accordingly, the results of Pearson correlation analysis of smart city with urban sustainability have a significant correlation relationship at a significance level of less than 0.01. Its correlation coefficient is 0.555, which shows that there is a direct relationship between smart city and urban sustainability. According to regression analysis, all components of the smart city are suitable for predicting and achieving sustainability and explains 50% of urban sustainability. And is 0.875.
