Abstract :
The tourism industry is growing rapidly in the world today within the framework of certain spatial patterns. One of them is tourism on the sea coast. Sea and coast have a great opportunity for tourism development and coastal tourism is considered as one of the most important models of economic development and employment creation. Meanwhile, as a geographical phenomenon, climate has a close and undeniable relationship with tourism and the development of tourist destinations. So that many of the famous tourist destinations in the world owe their success to having a favorable climate. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the climatic factors effective in the tourism of Bandar Abbas using TCI indicators. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population including climatic data of 12 months of 1 year 1401 was selected purposefully. The data were analyzed through the TCI method. According to the results of the TCI index, the best months in Bandar Abbas are December, January and February. Based on this, it can be concluded that the best time period for tourism in Bandar Abbas is from December to the end of February. The general trend of TCI indicators shows that tourism in this city is related to the cold months based on the climate of the city.
