Abstract :
Cancer is a general term for a large group of diseases that can affect any part of the body. Cancer patients are worried about their survival, and pain can seriously affect their mental status. On the basis of this, cancer is said to be merely an event, with no definite end, is a permanent and viable situation characterized by delayed and delayed effects of illness, treatment, and psychological problems associated with them. The purpose of this study was to compare the stress and coping styles of healthy people and patients with cancer. For this purpose, in a comparative study, 100 patients with cancer (50 men with gastric, lung, colon, rectum and prostate cancer, and 50 women with gastric cancer, esophagus, colon and rectum and breast ) Were selected as an accessible sample and compared with 100 people (50 men and 50 women) from healthy people in the age group of 60-40 years old. The results of variance analysis showed that stress and coping styles include social support seeking, positive re-evaluation, coping, resignation, self-esteem, escape and avoidance in two different groups.
