Abstract :

The "Urban Development Strategy" approach is considered one of the most important development strategies and has attracted the attention of many scientific circles in Iran in recent years. In this approach, collaborative methods are emphasized and its main goal is to provide sustainable urban development through creating social potential to increase the collaborative perspective and public action. The main goal of this research was sociological analysis of city development strategy using SWOT and SOAR techniques from the perspective of city sociology. The research method was documentary and descriptive-analytical. To collect data, observation tools and available information and documents were used. In order to show the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, the SWOT technique was used, and in order to obtain the results and determine the strengths, opportunities and ideals, the SOAR strategic model was used. Considering the location of cities and the active presence of citizens in urban spaces, many international standards can improve the desirability of neighborhoods for citizens. Conflict of interest:
