Abstract :
Fars province in 2023, based on the five dimensions of the PERMA model including positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and achievement. A sample of 600 participants was randomly selected, and a researcher-made instrument was developed. Initially, 166 items were compiled from 106 identified components. After content and internal validity checks, the scale was reduced to 50 items with acceptable reliability. Exploratory factor analysis revealed five distinct factors consistent with the PERMA model, explaining 46.54% of total variance, and confirmatory factor analysis confirmed an acceptable model fit. The results indicate that the PERMA model provides a suitable framework for measuring and promoting psychological well-being in this population, and programs for empowerment can be designed accordingly.
