Abstract :

The study aimed to check mediating role of Religious orientation for parenting styles and their meaning of life in junior high school students in Shiraz. The sample of this study consisted of 271 junior high school students in Shiraz (138girls and 133boys) that was selected by the method of sampling multistage cluster. The questionnaire for the study of parenting styles parents, and the meaning of life and the religious orientation inventory were used. In order to analyze the raw data the statistical methods were used. The study showed that 41% of variance of meaning of life is predicted with Religious orientation and parenting style. In sum, the results revealed that Religious orientation for parenting styles and their meaning of life has a signification role.
