Effectiveness of Lifestyle Modification on Improving the Typology and Integration of Family and Family Pathology among Couples of Rostam City

Abstract :
Family is a fundamental structure in every society; as a result, the consequences of its threads can harm the society. So, the aim of this study was to investigate lifestyle modification on improving the typology of integration and family pathology among couples in Rostam city. The research method was an experimental type. The statistical sample of the study were 30 couples in Rostam city. By random sampling, they assigned in two control and experiment groups. Research instrument was Samani Family Process and Content Model (2005). Findings showed that the lifestyle modification has a significant effect on the improvement of family species. Therefore, it can be said that lifestyle modification has had a significant effect on the improvement of family typology. The results also showed that lifestyle modification has a significant effect on improving family integration. Lifestyle modification also has a significant effect on improving family pathology. By considering the results of the study, it can be concluded that life style modification not only would improve typology of families to healthy and integrated type, but also can decrease pathology of family.
