Effectiveness of Fisher’s Rebuilding after Divorce Intervention on Self-Cocept and Hope of Women after Divorce

Abstract :
Introduction:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Fisher's rebuilding after divorce training program on self-concept and hope of Women after Divorce.
Methods:In a semi-experimental research, 30 subjugated women in Tehran were selected through convenience sampling and divided into two experimental (15 subjects) and control groups (15 subjects). The experimental group received 8 sessions of fisher’s rebuilding after divorce training, each session in a week, while control group did not receive any training in the same time. Participants were measured by Beck Self-Concept Test and Snyder’s hope scale.
Findings: The results of analysis of covariance showed there is a significant difference between the two groups in the self-concept and hope in the post-test phase. The results showed that after divorce Fisher's rebuilding after divorce training has a positive effect on the self-concept and hope of divorced women (p<0/05). Based on the evidence of this study, this program can be used to enhance the hope and self-concept of divorced women
