Abstract :
Every year, floods cause financial and human losses all over the world. This problem makes the importance of flood control and reducing the damages caused by it visible, and on the other hand, identifying the submerged land uses and the future study of urban flood risks is essential and vital for urban planning and management solutions. In the current research, the analysis of the components and future research of flood risks in Ahvaz metropolis has been done. The research method was based on the practical purpose, in terms of nature it was mixed (quantitative and qualitative) and in terms of the method of data analysis it was descriptive-analytical. AHP decision model and MicMac interpretive structural equation software were used to analyze the data and geographic information system (GIS) was used to draw the maps. The obtained results show that the flood vulnerability map of Ahvaz metropolis was categorized into 5 vulnerability classes: very low, low, medium, high and very high. also show that in the event of a flood in Ahvaz city, the greatest losses and damages are economic-physical factors irst (frank), environmental factors (second rank) and social factors (third rank). It should be noted that flods have the greatest effect on destruction of urban sewage, destruction of houses, damage to transportation, destruction of clinics and health centers, pollution of drinking water and destruction of parks and green spaces. Finally, the results of Delphi show that the factors of cleaning and dredging the Karun river path with 4.94,
