Abstract :
Abstract The aim of this study was to determine the impact of Job engagement and organizational development on teacher retention in non-governmental schools in Marand. The research method used in terms of practical purpose and in terms of the nature of the method is a descriptive survey and the statistical population of the research consists of 760 teachers of non-governmental schools in Marand.The statistical sample size based on Morgan table was 257 people and was selected by two methods of relative stratification and non-random available. Data collection tool was a questionnaire and a combination of standard questionnaires of job motivation Shofley et al. (2008); Spiders organizational growth (2007); And the persistence of hive and gull (2016), the validity of which has been confirmed through face and content validity and its reliability through Cronbach's alpha and combined reliability. The collected data were analyzed by statistical tests including Kolmogorov-Smirinov test and structural equation modeling method. The results of the present study showed that the effect of job enthusiasm on teacher retention in non-governmental schools in Marand (with a path coefficient of 0.83) is positive and significant. Also, the effect of organizational maturity on teacher retention in non-governmental schools in Marand (with a coefficient of 0.89) was positively and significantly confirmed.
