Abstract :
The main purpose of the current research is to investigate the effect of practice-based entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial behavior with regard to the mediating role of entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial orientation. The present study benefits from applied methodology for its purpose and is based on field research. The statistical population of the present study includes the employees of knowledge enterprises located at Development Centers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Using simple random sampling method and based on Morgan table, 200 individuals were selected as the statistical sample of the study. In order to collect data for the present study, Bolton and Lane Entrepreneurship Orientation (2012), Linan and Chen Entrepreneurship Intention (2009), Schmitt et al. Entrepreneurial Behavior (2018) and Boubker et al. Entrepreneurship Education (2022) questionnaires were used. Research data was analyzed using management applied software, including SPSS25 and PLS3. Results showed that among the existing components, entrepreneurial orientation not only has a positive and direct effect on entrepreneurial behavior, but also mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial behavior. However, entrepreneurial intention does not have such effect on entrepreneurial behavior and as the result does not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial behavior.
