Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between organizational socialization, organizational identification with organizational citizenship behavior among the employees of the ministry of education in Isfahan, Iran (2012-2013). The method in the study was correlation and the population included the employees of the ministry of education in Isfahan (742 people).A sample size of 254 people was selected through stratified random sampling method; and the sample population was divided based on Isfahan education ministry’s regions. Data collection instruments were Taormina (1994) Organizational Socialization Questionnaire, Mael and Ashforth (1992) Organizational Identification Questionnaire, and Wang (2004) Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire. Data analyzing was performed at two levels: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Findings from this research (), indicated a significant positive relationship between organizational socialization, organizational identification with the organizational citizenship behavior and mediating role of organizational identification in the relationship between organizational socialization and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the measured goodness-of-fit index (GFI) and adjusted goodness of fit index (AGFI) and also the square of root mean squared error (RMSEA), the structural equations had appropriate goodness-of-fit.
