Designing a professional development model for teachers of Farhangian University based on Islamic teachings

Abstract :
Today, one of the approaches to the development and improvement of human resources is professional development, which can improve human resources. University teachers are also one of the main elements of education, whose professional development is inevitable. Therefor , The purpose of the present research is to present and design a professional development model for Farhangian University lecturers based on Islamic teachings. The present research method was combined (qualitative-quantitative) and practical in terms of its purpose. The statistical population included all the lecturers and specialists in the field of education in Alborz Farhangian universities, 14 of whom were selected as a sample using the purposeful sampling method. In the quantitative part of the research, 80 people were selected based on random sampling. For the validity of the findings, 89% was obtained from the formal validity and reliability method with Cronbach's alpha test. According to the findings of the research, the 8 main themes of the professional development model of Farhangian University teachers are: teaching about teaching, alignment of teaching and learning, learning about teaching, guiding teaching and learning processes, developing teachers and lecturers, guiding innovation, improvement and change. directing Farhangian University and engaging and working with the community. In this research, the final model obtained is somewhat a combination of Konrad and Newman models, in which the creation of learning and the use of professional development in the framework of the development of the model is the focus of the model. In our model, teaching is about teaching, guiding teaching and learning processes, guiding innovation, improving and changing.
