Survey of Academic and Non-academic factors` effect on writing thesis In M.A. of Persian language and literature from the view of supervisors

Abstract :
The aim of this study was survey of academic and non-academic factors` effect on writing thesis in M.A. of Persian language and literature from the view of supervisors with descriptive method. Total of society were 306 persons of faculty members (Ph.D.) in department of Persian language and literature in Islamic Azad University, that 170 numbers were selected as sample with Cochran formula. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to data collection. The Questionnaire included three sections: Personal information, Academic and Non-academic factors. Reliability of non-academic questions 85% and academics questions 89% determined. Results showed Academic and Non-academic factors affected on thesis process In M.A. of Persian language and literature. According to the findings of this study in other academic disciplines, it is expected; universities and university centers focus and be careful on thesis process.
