Abstract :
Objective: To explore the antecedents and consequences of entrepreneurial culture in Iraqi higher education and to design a comprehensive conceptual model.
Research Methodology: This study employed a mixed-method approach (qualitative–quantitative). In the qualitative phase, inductive qualitative content analysis was used, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 informed experts selected through purposive sampling. In the quantitative phase, the research followed a descriptive-survey design. From a statistical population of 1,200 experts and specialists in public administration, higher education, and entrepreneurship, 290 individuals were selected via convenience sampling. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire with validated content validity. Data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software.
Findings: The qualitative phase resulted in identifying 190 general codes grouped into 158 sub-components, 27 main components, and 6 dimensions: cognitive, emotional, behavioral, administrative and organizational antecedents, entrepreneurial culture, and consequences of entrepreneurial culture. The quantitative results confirmed that the proposed model of entrepreneurial culture in Iraqi higher education has a good model fit
